Who are we?

Started at Oxford University in 2019, Comedy vs Climate Change is a comedy project that aims to raise awareness about the climate crisis and to gather community support for environmental projects.

Guided by research into humour and laughter, we are confident that comedy is a fantastic way to engage people in climate issues, whilst challenging the negative feelings of hopelessness or eco-anxiety that can arise when facing these difficult topics.

Our Story

Comedy vs Climate Change is a comedy project that aims to raise awareness of climate issues and support for environmental causes. We work with writers, comedians and performers across the UK and beyond to create live comedy, workshops and web content that intersects with environmentalism and political activism.
